MARKETING and PUBLICITY ASSETS

This page contains marketing assets (images, etc) for use by clients who wish to develop flyers; brochures; posters; press releases; etc.

The page also contains downloadable artwork for "Special Offer" CDs - see our Online Store.

These assets can be downloaded (saved) to your computer and used in the development of your publicity material.

All band thumbnail images are 72dpi resolution. The downloadable versions of the logo and the sketches are also 72dpi, whereas downloadable versions of the band photos have a resolution of 300dpi. Note that, because of the standard web resolution of 72dpi, the photos may be displayed in the popup window at 72dpi and appear to be very large (approx 1/4 the normal resoluion, hence 4x the regular size).

Testimonials appear in two forms - image form for right-clicking/downloading and text form for cutting/pasting. If you prefer to use the colored versions of the images, found on the "The Band:Testimonials" page, please feel free to do so.

TESTIMONIALS (Images)
TESTIMONIALS (Text)
"So far ahead of other traditional bands...there is scarcely any basis for comparison."
John S. Wilson, NEW YORK TIMES
"Appearances by the New Black Eagles have become not only a New England tradition, but an international one as well."
Bob Young, BOSTON HERALD
"...large-spirited, precise, abounding in hot grace..."
Nat Hentoff, NEW YORK
"The resultant mix is a lovely, relaxed, swinging ensemble, full of dynamics, light and shade, and tone colors, and interspersed with expressive and well constructed solos."
Roger Marks, JUST JAZZ
"...joyful and free in spirit and conveys an ebullience that's hard to resist."
John Stifler, BOSTON
"You'll go a mighty long way to find a band so careful with the tradition of jazz. Yet determined to progress with the maximum of good taste."
Ray Coleman, LONDON
"Something about the band's unity captures even the most untrained listener."
Margaret Wilkinson, THE MIDDLEBURY CAMPUS
"Widely acclaimed as the world's best traditional jazz band, the New Black Eagle Jazz Band is probably the world's most successful band of moonlighting professionals."
Walter Crockett, DATEBOOK
"Undoubtedly there are other bands mining the same field as the Black Eagles who boast flashy soloists and more clever routines, but, by the same token, there are few, if any, who play with more genuine feeling."
Jack Sohmer, THE MISSISSIPPI RAG
"...As close to perfection as you'll get, strong in soloists, spirited in the ensembles, with a sense of dynamics that casts them apart from most of their contemporaries."
John Gibson, EDINBURGH
"They seem to studiously avoid the tread-bare, weary, and worn-out 'war-horse' tunes associated with many of the inferior and so-called 'dixie' groups that pretend to play this form of early indigenous American music."
Larry Quilligan, THE JAZZ CLUB OF SARASOTA
